In 2025, Kinetik Spaces set up their first brand new indoor golf venue with the creation of 1IRON Indoor Golf, formerly known as Pro Shot Golf, to deliver one of the most ambitious indoor golf facility transformations in the UK. With new investment, a bold vision, and a commitment to world-class technology, 1IRON sought to reinvent its brand, expand capacity, and provide a premium simulation experience for golfers of all levels.
Kinetik Spaces managed the full design, planning, fabrication, and installation process, delivering a state-of-the-art venue that opened to the public in July 2025.
Background
Originally operating as Pro Shot Golf, the business had built a loyal local customer base but had outgrown its existing space. In 2024, new investors came onboard with plans to modernise, expand, and elevate the offering. This included:
- A complete rebrand to 1IRON Indoor Golf
- A large-scale facility expansion
- A focus on premium materials, standout design and top-tier golf technology
- A customer-first, commercial-grade environment suitable for coaching, leisure, events, and corporate bookings
Securing the New Space
To achieve the scale required for the expansion, 1IRON secured brand-new industrial units located on the opposite side of the same industrial estate where Pro Shot Golf had been based. The new location offered:
- Higher ceilings suitable for full-swing commercial bays
- A larger floor footprint to accommodate additional simulators
- Dedicated areas for coaching, putting analysis, and social space
- Improved customer flow and accessibility
This new blank canvas provided the ideal foundation for Kinetik Spaces to create a modern, purpose-built indoor golf environment.
In early 2025, Kinetik Spaces completed full measure-ups of the new premises, followed by detailed design and visualisation work, including:
- 3D concept layouts for all bays
- Bespoke room-by-room visualisations
- Cable routing, ventilation, and acoustic planning
- Ergonomic and safety considerations for commercial use
- Lighting studies designed around simulator performance
These visualisations allowed the investor team to fully understand the spatial design and make informed decisions before fabrication began.
Fabrication & Fit-Out
The fit-out process was a collaborative effort between Kinetik Spaces and specialist partner company Edward Williams Furniture, known for high-end commercial joinery and bespoke fabrication. Key elements of the build included:

- Custom side-wall padding and screen systems
- Integrated cable management and hidden AV solutions

Fabrication took place off-site before components were delivered and installed within the new unit. Installation was completed efficiently to meet the summer 2025 opening deadline.
